Lexicographer and terminologist Kenneth Allen Hornak, author of 16 specialized dictionaries, brings to lexicography his expertise in English-Spanish / Spanish-English scientific and technical terminology acquired over many years of successful translation work in various fields. This experience has made him acutely aware of the needs faced by a professional translator and all other translators when he or she consults a dictionary. Unlike almost every other bilingual, scientific dictionary, his works are rife with real-life, bilingual example sentences which allow the user to see how the entry is used practically in the real world.

After completing his formal education both at the Pennsylvania State University and the Universidad de Salamanca, in Spain, he continued to specialize in English-Spanish / Spanish-English science terminology throughout his professional career spanning nearly 26 years. Mr. Hornak currently has 20 additional bilingual dictionaries in various stages of development.
